Another tough day today.
Erkki is on morphine every 4 hours to help relieve the sore mouth and throat.
We were told yesterday that the sores will heal the day after his body begins to generate white blood cells
Everyone is different, but Day 28 seems to be mentioned frequently.
Hopefully sooner.
In spite of all this, Erkki is in good spirits. We had a good laugh this morning about his high strung nurse.

So sorry to hear of the sore throat. I'm sending
positive energy for the counts to be up soon.
Would love to visit but with school just starting I
wouldn't want to expose Erkki to anything I might
have picked up from the girls.
Just wanted you to know we are thinking about you
both all the time and sending our best
thoughts and energy.

I am so glad that to see the blog, we were wondering how you were doing for days. Bob told us not to send any work emails....:P
I will continue reading, but Erkki seems in good spirit. I am sure with your accompany, he will always remain in good spirit. :)
