Liquid Gold

Erkki woke up feeling quite weak today
As I write this, he is getting a blood transfusion which will give him some energy for the next few days. Thank you to all those wonderful people who save lives by donating blood.

This chemo is a real torture! But with this wonderful nurse Tachi at your side you will make it!

All the best.

Hang in there, Erkki! If it helps, try visualizing Tachy in a sexy nurse's uniform, rather than as Nurse Ratchet!!

You are so right, Tach, about blood donors. Readers of this blog might also want to check out onematch.ca to find out about stem cell donation. Also, if someone is on the athletic side, check out teamintraining.org/tor I hope to participate in one of their events next year; I will do so in honour of Erkki, Angela and Riena - three of the bravest people I know!

Love, virtual hugs and good vibes to you both.

I ran in the CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday. It was a gorgeous day and a great event. One of the teams was called "RE-Mission Possible".

I thought it would be a great slogan for you.

Thinking of you!
