Neupogen

When Erkki's white counts get too low he gets a shot of Neupogen. Neupogen is the created by recombinant DNA. Not a research scientist? Basically a bit of DNA which has the instructions to make a certain protein is combined with the E. Coli DNA, which then generates the protein which is needed. In this case it is granulocyte colony stimulating factor, and the product is very similar to our own protein. So cool!! And at $200 a shot, not cheap, but miraculous. Brings a whole new meaning to Eman!!

Hi Erkki and Tachy
It sounds like you are doing well and I am so pleased for you both.
Thanks for telling me about the blog. Tachy, we have been friends since we were teenagers in the 60s in Mexico and you and Tom have always been special to me. So many great memories...
Very best wishes and much love
