Tough and Scary Day

Eman had a tough day today. He is having recurrent fevers due to two different bacteria in his system. He developed some difficulty breathing and the doctors have discovered some fluid in his lungs due to the many transfusions he has had. He has improved with oxygen and the fever has disappeared for now. Eman has had several doses of Neupogen to stimulate new blood cells and that should help in the new few days to fight infection too. The doctors at PMH have been very attentive and of course the nursing staff is wonderful. I will post an update tomorrow.
