Peace

Our beloved Erkki passed away peacefully this morning.

Erkki will be cremated and we will have a service for the immediate family only.
We are planning a celebration of Erkki's life in a week or two.

Oh, Tach... there is so much you could teach us. Erkki will always be the debonair man in that photo, the man who so thoroughly charmed us 'Tarts', we never wanted him banished from our girl nights.

We will be there for you as soon as you need us.

We love you.

Dear Tachy and all of Erkki's family,

I am so, so sorry that Erkki lost his valiant fight. He was the epitome of courage and you, Tach, the epitome of strength and hope. As I was saying to Donna not too long ago, you and Erkki are an inspiration.

I wish you peace, Erkki.

Much love,

Vera

Dear Tachi,
in these sad times our thoughts are with you and all of your family. Life is tough!
Your positive and strong spirit will carry you forward. May be we should have a tennis game in the summer in memory of Erkki and play the game he loved.

Silverbirch Ave. was quiet today. Our hearts are heavy.
What a journey you have all been on in these six short months. Erkki was just always a "class act" from the day we first took down all those trees he had looked at for so long - he never made us feel like we had invaded his space. Both of you just welcomed us. Not because we are special - but because you are. You are in our thoughts - words cannot express our very deepest sympathies.

All of our love Scott, Tracey, Helana and Ali

Dear Pukonen's, I am so terribly sad to hear the news! Growing up, Erkki was considered one of the "coolest" Dads... It makes me giggle thinking of all of our shenanegans and fun times on silverberch... I hold fond memories of your father and will most particularly remember him for his brilliant smile!! I send all my love to you guys!

lot's of love,
Harmony

Our hearts are saddened and heavy with the news of Erkki's death. As courageous and determined as Erkki was to win this battle- even his best was no match for this illness. Erkki will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. We are keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

With love and deepest sympathy,

The Sarginson Family

Hi Tachy, I am so sorry to hear about Erkki, although I've never met him in person but I was inspired of how strong he is to fight off his disease. Just want to leave a note and let you know that my thoughts is with you and hope you are doing well coping with the loss.

I was a classmate of Erkki's and had no idea he was going through this battle. His untimely passing fills me with great sorrow.
My memories of Erkki are of a big guy both in body and heart - always smiling and puffing on a cigar. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. He was devoted to his family and spoke glowingly about them. All of us have had our lives enriched by his presence. Miss you buddy. Carl
