Celebration!

We waited all day for the good news - Erkki is officially in remission!
This means that at this moment there are no leukemia cells in his bone marrow.
Incredible news.
Erkki starts on another course of chemotherapy on Monday, to kill any leukemia cells lurking around in his body. Given he is in remission, the side effects will be less severe so he will have this treatment from home.

CELEBRATE!

Twas the night before chemo and all through the ward
The nurses were cheery welcome aboard.
Eman was restless,a dart in his chest
Tachy was pacing, saying I know whats best.
Family was praying, shedding some tears,
Eman wanted out, to have a few beers.
The chemo was started, the tough times were close
But hopes were abounding, its only one dose.
First went the hair, then the good humor,
Flying utensils in the ward? or only a rumor.
Then came the shivers and the incessant chatter
But Eman is tough, didnt really matter.
Day 30 is here, now we wait and fret
Test 1 came and went, we won the damn bet.
Erkki goes home, he says to relax
Tachy says no, its nails, glue and tacks.
Test 2 comes in, Shitola youre clean
Eman your cool, smooth and very mean.
The family is elated, we passed the first part,
You beat it with grit, straight from the heart.
Stage 2 starts on Monday, its still not all done
But youre gonna beat this again you son of a gun.
Im happy Im jumping youre my favorite guy
When its over, beers and tequila, I will all buy.
Keep happy keep joyful, this is just one test
To prove to the world that you are the best.

CONGRATS EMAN YOURE A STAR
