As Erkki said, being in a hospital in Canada means having to learn what patience is all about.
Erkki had nothing to eat or drink all day in advance of the operation which was to happen "any minute"....
Hurry up and wait.
At 11pm they announced that it's now scheduled for 7.30am tomorrow.
They are trying to find something for him to eat tonight.
Code White in a hospital means there is a violent person on a particular floor.
We thought if we could get that going, Erkki's procedure would become an emergency and it would get done.
In the end we decided to save that for another day!
