Nurse Helen reports that Erkki had a good night. He wakes up regularly but has trouble staying awake given the strong pain medication.
He has been put on a liquid diet but until he is awake enough to "eat", the feeding tube will stay in.
I will send an update later today.

we know Erkki is going thru a very trying time at this juncture...and we have an idea how extremely difficult this must be for you...we're pulling for both you guys as hard as we know how as in more thoughts and prayers...
I have a totally new computer sytem and, for whatever reason, I'm unable to download the goerkki blog...so I'll continue to e you if you don't mind...hopefully, our email will end up on the blog if and only if you have time to do so...
