Well, Rip Van Winkle is stirring. He opened one eye today, didn't like what he saw and went back to sleep :-)
His vitals continue to be very good, and kidney and liver function is improving every day. The doctors continue to be optimistic but we need him to wake up!

I can only imagine how stressful this must be. It is so grey and cloudy I can't blame Erkki! The signs look good - so his body must know what he needs to do. Hope you are taking this chance to do something for yourself and maybe get some rest as well. I know - that must be impossible. Thinking of you both and hoping the sandman leaves Erkki's room and comes on over to my house. I can't get the girls to sleep!

At least Erkki is not having to consciously put up with post-surgical pain - and I'm sure he is having sweet dreams about you Tachy! I expect he will truly wake up when he is once again able to amuse everyone around him. All the best, Kerin
