Erkki had a good day. He is off all support other than a feeding tube but I'm sure that will go tomorrow.
He is being given some very strong pain medication (stronger than morphine) to keep him comfortable.
The side effects are some delirium and hallucinations so he has kept us quite entertained today.
We have to pay close attention because we're not always sure when it's the real Eman or the drugs speaking, and if you get it wrong he lets you know it.
He spent half an hour designing a proper bed for someone who is 6 feet tall.
I asked him this afternoon if he wanted water and he said:
"If you give me water I will give you delight"
Tomorrow he will be taken back to Princess Margaret Hospital because he's not sick enough for ICU.
He is truly a Superman!
